Pakistan Army inducts Z-10ME gunship helicopters into combat fleet

The Pakistan Army has further strengthened its aerial capabilities with the induction of the “Z-10ME” gunship helicopter into its aviation division.

The “Z-10ME” gunship helicopter is capable of effectively targeting air and ground targets and is being hailed as a new development in the changing combat environment.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir presided over the induction ceremony in Multan, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.

Field Marshal Asim Munir also received a detailed briefing on the operational preparedness of the formation and ongoing training activities at Corps Headquarters during his to Multan Garrison.

The army chief expressed satisfaction over the high professionalism, training standards and combat readiness of the Pakistan Army and reiterated the resolve to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

This state-of-the-art, all-weather, day and night gunship platform is equipped with advanced radar systems, electronic warfare capabilities and precision-guided munitions, enabling it to strike enemy air and ground targets effectively.

The induction of the Z-10ME is seen as a decisive step forward in the Pakistan Army’s modern warfare strategy and aviation upgradation.
